an addict gets the absolution, treatment and allowance of rage?
while the one who holds it all together gets the brunt of all that rage even when it's not pointed personally to them...
for once can they not see it's their lousy choices in addition to the "bad" things done to them that also contribute to their mess?

this is the place where the person living with an addict becomes just as angry, frustrated and bitter as the addict only for me i don't use to cover the feelings. it's a circle game of words, angry words and feelings between being at wits endl with the deficiencies of the user and wanting to help them through it.
it makes me look bad when i blow up about all the money spent and wasted, the time lost, the scars both emotional and mental. all the while, they are recovering with help and counsel.
you know. i can do this with the help of scripture, biblical words to transform and renew my thinking.. but i weary of holding in the angry thoughts and things i have had to swallow not to make the addict MAD. and then i like addict explode into rages...
so back to my own garden and tending the weeds that have grown. back to pruning off all the junk, and sins against me and caused by me to find that relief. another process of mini-steps...
but where do you draw the line -- when enough is enough?
